Hello and thank you so much for visiting my website!

 

I’m Ali, a potter living here in Berkhamsted. I was born and bred amongst the potteries in Stoke-On-Trent but moved down here to start a family. As I entered my 50’s, I finally plucked up the courage to materialise my true passion and start this business. I now work as a potter, part-time art teacher and foster carer. After completely filling my own home with self-made pottery, I think it’s time to pass it into yours.

 

I have been studying ceramics for 10 years, doing all my training in Stoke with Kevin Milward (The Great Pottery Throw Down, The New Ceramics). I specialise in rustic pottery, fascinated by the individuality of each pot. Growing up in the 80’s, I have also been inspired by the bright and vibrant colours of the New Romantic Era. Everything produced is hand thrown by myself here in my Berkhamsted home studio. I use the finest quality white, stoneware clay and crystal glazes delivered from the Stoke potteries.
